Candi | Love Revolution

Revolution is a BIG word. It can even be intimidating. Some of you are asking, “me? start a revolution?” But average, regular, every-day people have always been used throughout history to change the world. Time after time, God used the small, the un-qualified, the “nobody’s”. And He still does. He chooses to use me. And He chooses to use YOU. But this isn’t just a revolution we’re talking about. It’s a LOVE revolution. It’s about living out compassion and standing against injustice. It’s in the little things. Donate your clothes. Visit the elderly. Make a meal. Mow your neighbors lawn. One small act of kindness can bring about HUGE change. Check out the map. Stories of everyday people from all over the world joining the revolution. What’s your story? We want to see you on the map. Candi's Love Story August 9th, 2010

I found an organization called Operation Baking GALS about a year ago…it’s a bunch of women who team up every month to send home-baked goodies to our military men and women who are deployed in war zones. Sometimes when we think of our soldiers, it’s difficult not knowing any tangible ways we can support them. But through this organization, I have shipped boxes to about 10 soldiers, some I know and some I don’t know. It’s great being able to physically show them that we’re supporting them from home and we truly are grateful for the sacrifices they’re making!
