Kelly (race_12_1)'s Love Story August 12th, 2010

In 1995 my life blew up because I went from a fully functioning woman, to a sick woman who could no longer work, take care of my house, care for my son, or even stay awake more then a few hours a day. Over the last 5 years my diagnosis has continued to expand including epilepsy, an arnold chiari malformation, and several other smaller diagnoses.

During all of this I have had 3 brain surgeries. Love overflowed from my husband. He proved his commitment to me. He was rock, never wavering in his belief that God was sovereign. He cared for me, cared for our son, slept at the hospital with me so many times I can’t count. Our marriage has only been strengthened by my illness, and he proved he loves me by staying through it all without one complaint.

Now I never doubt God’s sovereignty or His promises. I have committed myself to praying immediately when someone says they need it, asking if people have prayer needs, and being available to pray when asked. God is sovereign and we ought ask Him for His involvement any time we have a need.
