Louise's Love Story August 7th, 2010

I know I have written many stories but I have some more to share.

This year at a Youth Group Camp we had adoration and we were given the opportunity to surrender ourselves to God for the first time or to renew our promise. I chose to surrender myself for the very first time. I’m 14. And then as I stood, with some other people who wanted to surrender, music started. They played Mighty to Save, Lord I Give You My Heart, and some other worship songs. Thinking of the meaning of these songs caused me to cry as I tried to sing along. “Lord I give You my heart, I give You my soul, I live for You alone, Every breath that I take, Every moment I’m awake, Lord have Your way in me” The truth in those lyrics made me cry, I wanted to do just as those lyrics said, give everything to God.

That moment changed my life forever and I am thankful for it.
