S.F.E.'s Love Story August 12th, 2010
I love to be hospitable for ones that are in need, not feeling well, had a bad day or because they are a widow and I want to cheer them up. I can’t afford to do this all the time but for my Mother-in-law that is a widow and also my neighbor across the street, I give them meals once in a while. I make extra dinner and put aside a container for them. Or if I make cookies or cake, I give them 1/2 of the batch. For my son’s teacher throught the year I would make muffins or cookies, or bring in an extra coffee when dropping off to school and it was a nice surprise and treat for them that they appreciated it. I appreciate them and thankful for them and I know it gave them a smile. Same with supplies, it’s a private Christian school and so we have to buy things to help out and doante and when I saw their dry erase markers were dried out, I would add a pack to my shopping list the next time I’m at a office supply store and the teacher was so happy to receive that much needed gift.
